All three if them stood outside the doors of Pizza Rock. What lay before them was not a place they knew. Tosh looked at Davey as Radio looked back at them. Tosh shook her head.
"I must be dreaming. I probably hit my head pretty hard on the table during the second explosion." She looked around in disbelief. Radio took a few steps forward. He was trying to take everything in. "No, if you're dreaming, I must be too. But we can't all have the same dream." He said quietly.
Before them stood 4 story Gothic buildings made of black brick. The lights coming from inside the buildings were purple. There were light posts in random places on the side walk. Some had two London style lamps coming out from one side. Other lamp posts had three lamps in a row. Nothing was the same. The fire hydrants were blue instead of red. But somehow they looked out of place.
The streets were made up of stones instead of asphalt. Red lines replaced the normal yellow ones. They looked like someone had hand drawn them with red gooey liquid. White ceramic statues of weirdly shaped humans and animals in dancing positions were also randomly placed along the side walk.
The sky looked darkened and the clouds were dark blue with red veins. Although it was day and a sun was visible, it felt like its light was dim in this place. Angry black birds flew high in the sky. The most interesting and perhaps chilling thing of all, were the black crosses hanging from power lines that crossed from building to building.
"I... I just. We can wake up now, I think." Davey said. He took a step back and nearly tripped on a blue hydrant. He turned around slowly trying not to fall. "Guys..." He said pointing at Pizza Rock in front of him. "Guh..guys." He managed to whisper. Tosh and Radio turned around to see exactly what Davey was pointing at.
Pizza Rock was no longer Pizza Rock. The Pizza Parlor had turned into a black Gothic building as well. It stood on the corner with its front doors facing that corner. The doors were made up of red stained glass framed with black wood. Five red stained glass windows aligned each side. A huge black wooden banner ran horizontal above the windows. The banner read PIZZAROCKK. Above the wooden banner was a variation of round balconies, stained glass windows with pizza's in the middle of them and black crosses protruding from the various triangle rooftops. There was a lamp post with two purple lamps, one above the other.
The Distortions were speechless. They had no words for what they were currently seeing.
